Starting my sophomore year of High School in the great state of Ohio, I applied and received a receptionist job at a Salon so I could help pay for my first car. While working as a receptionist, my "can't sit still" attitude took over and I began to assist the stylists. All the while, as an assistant, i realized that the cosmetology profession was something I could envision myself conquering long term. Upon graduation from High School, I left to study Business Management at Bowling Green State University. While I was in school I never truly felt that college was my future. I always felt that I was missing something. I was attending college because that is what you were "supposed to do in life." It didn't take me long to figure out that cosmetology was my calling in life. 

 

What inspires me
My inspiration comes from the "people" aspect of the profession. I enjoy the personalities around the salon, and most important, making people smile. The enjoyment of seeing someone look in the mirror at themselves after an appointment, and their instant rejuvenation  is truly something special. Making people feel good after  I transform their look is a feeling that cannot be described in words. That feeling is one that never gets old! My goal is to have every single person who gets up from my chair stand a little taller, strut a little longer, talk a little smoother, and just down right feel good when I am finished! 

 

Education 
I received my Cosmetology License and Managing Cosmetology License at Interstate Cosmetology School in Cleveland, Ohio in 2003. Received continuing education and credentials from Redken, L'Oreal INOA, Nufree Finipil "Art of Hair Removal", IGORA COLOR10 Schwarzkopf, and GK Keratin certified. Also attended numerous hair and color symposiums throughout the country including Las Vegas, NV, Chicago, IL, and Nashville, TN.
